At first, I was intrigued by this romance because I enjoy the theme of hero unknowingly falling for his own betrothed. I was pleasantly surprised to see this couple slowly fall in love and admit that love for one another. The book had potential, but it dragged quite a bit and it was finally ruined by the ending. (view spoiler)[ Hero's reaction to the heroine's true identity seemed out of proportion. He screams at her that he never loved her, that he was only pretending, slaps her and rapes her. I understand that he was hurt thinking the heroine deceived him and that she never loved him, but what he did was unforgivable in my eyes. In my opinion he will turn on her again in the future. His grovel in the end was rushed and unsatisfying. The whole ending of the book I found unsatisfying.(hide spoiler)]
