Here is an insightful look at how much of one's present life is informed by one's past lives, and how many health and relationship problems have their roots in unresolved past lives. From unexplained illnesses to bizarre phobias, from irrational anxieties and fears to the choice of partners, each can be traced back to past lives. Even birthmarks and recurring dreams are signs of issues from past lives. Sylvia helps readers recognize where their deep-rooted problems, fears, and hang-ups all began-and how to ultimately resolve them....

One of the things I most appreciate about Sylvia Browne is that she makes no appology for her beliefs or who she is, yet she is the last person to thrust her belief system on you.I picked up this book because it is about "cellular memory". I had a dream back in 1989 that used this word...so I was intruiged when I saw that she spoke about this (as I had never heard that term when it was used in the dream - though it is used somewhat frequently now). She lists many regressions and healings throughout the book and gives you a prayer/meditation to do to do your own healing - which I am doing soon.Fascinating book.

After losing several family member within a 9 month frame, I began to need some sort of wisdom or explanation as to why in order to start the healing process. I recommend this book to everyone I encounter whom has lost a loved one. It's one of my favorites by her and after meeting her I must tell you I believe she is indeed the real deal. Such a lovely soul.

I am a firm believer of Past Lives. After finding out so much about my past lives I have learned so much about where my soul has been ... where I have been. It's great to know your ancestory but honestly that's just blood. It has nothing to do with your soul.

Now this book was really something...From the moment I saw it in store I had this nudge that it is something I must read. Past life exploration being a subject I am extremely interested in, it is still odd I have never thought about actually reading a book on the subject before.Thoroughly enjoyed the many examples of her experiences with her clients and I was glued to the book for 2 evenings in a row until I finished it. Loved the meditation provided at the back. Can`t wait to read more of her work.

I started reading this book with an open mind. Sure enough that's what you needed. I'm still not totally sure if i believe everything, but one thing for sure is that I'm going to keep reading her books. She does have my interest.

WOW...She has done major research to validate the past lives that come up during her sessions. The process truly helps people! This is a book I have flown through because it is so fascinating....And it emphasizes that Western medicine should take notice and use what WORKS. ;)

It appears she copied from other sources. If you REALLY want to learn about past lives and current healing, get Many Lives, Many Masters by Brian Weiss, PhD.Also, Sylvia Browne was the "psychic" who told the mom of one of the kidnapped Ohio girls that her daughter was dead. The press vilified her when the girls were all found alive. She's a charlatan.

Even if you do not belive in past life, it is interesting read the stories about her clients. And the point for me of this book is to keep looking to be a better person in this life.

Intriguing, but I would of like more references beyond the people she counsels.

Sylvia Browne posits that the cells in our bodies remember and hold past traumas and pain that are carried into our present lives. Lots of anecdotes about people experiencing a variety of issues that are resolved by revisiting their last lives. At the end of the book is a meditation to revisit your past life. I am all about reading books that challenge what I know and believe, and that encourage me to think differently. This is such a book.

I've been absolutely enthralled with reincarnation and past life regression ever since I stumbled upon The Search For a Soul at my college library (which I'm starting to wonder if that was a coincidence or not). everything about the subject absolutely fascinates me. I guess I consider myself an atheist since I left the Mormon Church and the whole idea of God disgusted me, so initially I didn't know what to think when Sylvia talked about God, but I'm willing to listen with an open heart. this book is filled with examples of past life regressions that Sylvia has led clients through under hypnosis, and I officially need to make an appointment to have one done with a local hypnotist. I need to read everything I can on this fascinating subject, highly recommend!!

For anyone who believes in reincarnation, this is a great book to read! This book includes many cases of Slyvia's career dealing with past life regression therapy. It could also answer some questions you have, and it could help heal ailments that you can't heal other wise. Such things as a chronic cough could stem from a past life and once you uncover that, your cough could go away. I STRONGLY suggest you read this book. It has answered many question I had about myself that other wise I had no answer to.

Whether or not Sylvia was a legitimate psychic, I believe the stories in this book as they resonate so deeply with me. Truth comes from within, it is one of the many lessons I've learned in reading these types of books, and it is encouraging and empowering. If for nothing else, read with an open mind, take what you can, and leave the rest. If something helps you, let it help you, if something else does not ring true, leave it.

This book really opened up my eyes to dealing with past trama. It talks about how important it is to leave things in the past(even if it's from two life times ago)and in return you can move forward in this life. It explains cell memory and has several short stories from people who actaully had reading done by Sylvia, focusing on good health and relationships.

An excellent introduction to cell memory and the use of regression in order to help the body heal from past memories. A very humane description of real cases (respecting anonymity) and giving the reader a thoughtful collection of stories and references. Loved reading it!Maria Carmo,Lisbon 4th January 2016.

This was a really fun read. I had it marked as read, and I'm so glad I picked it up anyway because I would have missed it otherwise. I believe I had read some of it before, but that I never did finish it. I wish everything this woman says is true, and if it is this is my last lifetime because I don't want to ever come here again.

Very informative and educational, and extremely interesting. The only reason I didn't give it four stars was because I found she focused more on the biological cell memory component, whereas I was expecting more of the past lives part. Don't get me wrong, she definitely did include that in her book, but I guess I was just expecting more. Overall an enjoyable read.

Through sharing stories of her clients Slyvia Brown explores the world of past lives and how they can affect our lives today. It was interesting to read the individual stories and I can't help but wonder if some unexplained emotions I have are a cause of an earlier life. If you believe in this, it's a great read. If you don't, well you'll spend your time arguing with the book.

This book was my first attempt to explore an interest of the possibility of past lives. I don't like the author's style of writing. It was intereting, but it was almost like she included too many accounts to back up her psychic abilities and to proove something.

This is perhaps my very favorite book by Sylvia! She explores how pain and baggage from your past lives could be hindering you in this lifetime. She also includes several amazing examples of how she helped many people theoretically prove this idea!

I know there are plenty of people who dislike Sylvia Brown... myself I don't have much of an opinion of her, but I found the book interesting and a good intro to the subject that has led me to want to read more on the subject.

I got this at the library on a whim. I read it in one evening. I don't buy any of it, past lives and reincarnation, white light, all that jazz, but I loved reading about it. And I'm gonna go and get some more at the library this evening!

this book gives any one the tools to deal with some of lifes most difficult occurances. You can tweak the wording a bit to fit your particular set of beliefs because as she says; take what you want and leave the rest.
