This is a fantastic resource for those of us who are just now catching up on Dr. Who via instant play on Netflix. It is beautifully illustrated throughout, with references to old and new. My only complaint is that they discuss some of the characters without bothering to tell who the actor/actress is - since the book admits that many famous people have wanted to be in the series, I find this a little perplexing.

I loved this insight to all the doctor who villains from when the series began. Especially as I have scene many of the old ones and scene how the monsters have evolved. Especially the cybermen which really dpn't look mencing in the old ones with Patrick Trouton or Jon Pertwee. However the maggot things with Jon Pertwee were horrible and worse than some modern ones.

It was so much fun reading this! I just wish it had a bit more behind-the-scenes details. I guess I'll have to watch DW Confidential for that.

Was pretty good but didn't include Matt Smith obviously because of when it was written. Also it didn't really talk about a lot of the actors.
