Simply hilarious. So many of the stories made me roll with laughter when I read it is a kid! Great for getting children hooked on to reading. It is 64 pages long, but if you leave out the TOC, appendices, illustrations and so on, you'll find the stories amounting to about 43 pages. This is a sly way of reducing the size of a book in children's eyes, especially if they are new to reading.Be sure to check out its other re-tellings, like the much longer Tales of Juha: Classic Arab Folk Humor by Christopher Tingley and others.
