It was a cute story. A prequel to "Sisters, Ink." In a nutshell, Jane's husband cheated on her via the internet. Her best friend had tried to point out his cheating ways the day of her marriage, but Jane wouldn't listen. Now, 2 years later, she finds herself divorced and on her own. Through her love of scrapbooking, she finds 3 other women with whom she becomes friends. The story is told through different viewpoints and covers each life: Jane's decision to move forward or accept back her ex-husband, Lydia's inattentive husband, Mari's fertility and adoption issues, and Mac's wayward daughter. Through it all, the "sisters" love and support each other. The story is funny and full of pop culture references: Stargate, Galactica, Creating Keepsakes and Stacy Julian, etc. It's a light read, and it's Christian without being preachy. It fell a bit flat though as each story, predictably, wraps up too neatly at the same time.It did make me realize how much I miss having close girlfriends.

This lighthearted romance concerns a woman named Jane who has just gotten over her husband dumping her for a cyberspace lover. She has survived and even thrived with the help of her "sisters"--a group of female friends who share two things in common: their faith in Jesus and their obsession with scrapbooking. So when Jane meets a charming new neighbor who seems to have romance potential, their budding relationship is duly chronicled. But some red flags and a blast from the past cause some speed bumps along the way--will Jane end up with her prints charming? Or will her love life develop into a big mess?[return]This was a cute little story, and I'll bet scrapbookers would love all the scrapping references a lot more than I did. There were also a lot of references to Gary Chapman's love languages book.

A set of 4 friends get together to scrapbook and to share stories of thier lives. The main character, Jane, found out that her husband was cheating on her and got a divorce. She is now living on her own with her dog, Wilson, and that is when she finds a very handsome guy next door--Jake.Is Jake the one or will her ex-husband try to win her back? The other characters in this book, Lydie, Mac & Maria also have interesting life stories and the book really flows well. This is the only book that Seitz wrote---I hope she hurries it up and writes some more!

We always need our girlfriends to get us through hard times. Jane learns about this the hard way as she goes through a painful divorce. Jane and her friends form a new scrapbooking comapany to help other women who love to scrap connect with each other. Jane and her friends each go through a rough spot in their lives, but get through with the help of their friends. This was not my favorite book by this author, but still enjoyable. An easy read, that has a lot of pop culture references, especially to sci fi, and for a geek like me, I liked that part.

Delightfully fun, light book to read. Enjoyed the characters sharing an interest in scrapbooking... even the sb tips in the back of the book. Despite one main character going through divorce, I felt that the message with the other characters was that marriage is worth working and fighting for, even when it's not fun. I appreciated that message.

Really enjoyed this book!! Can't wait to pick up all of the books in the Sisters Ink Series. :) A great story about a group of girlfriends who make a pact to be sisters to one another. They get together to share their love of scrapbooking and help one another through thick and thin, good times and bad. It inspires me to start a group of my own like this!!

I really enjoyed this book. It was predictable, but in a comforting way. I actually teared up a couple of times, even though I knew what was going to happen long before it did. This was the perfect book for reading on my porch on one of the most beautiful days of 2008!

A cute story -- 4 women get together over scrapbooking and support each other in the variety of struggles they face (new romance, stale marriage, adopting a child, and having an older child in trouble). A happy ending, feel good book.

Easy reading for vacation. Enjoyed it as I was needing something light and fun. The author did a good job of making you feel like you were friends with these ladies. I don't scrapbook but after reading this, I wouldn't mind trying. Good girlfriend book.

I am a bit of a sucker for books in a series. This group of women have bonded over scrapbooking. While I don't scrapbook, I enjoy reading about relationships and how ties are formed. I'll read the next book in this series.

This is definitely a light read and much is not missed by skimming the book. It had a cute story line with a little drama mixed in. Scrapbookers may enjoy it just for that theme in the storyline.

Enjoy Seitz's writing. Fun, but this one had an issue about marriage that I do not agree with with - but it is fiction!

omehow did not realize I was picking up a Christian romance novel sprinkled with scrapbooking...not my thing. I did, however, finish it. I kind of wish I hadn't.

Kind of the prequel to Sisters Ink - it was ok. I didn't feel quite the connection with the characters. Good story, though.

I liked the premise (women need a creative outlet and friendships with other women), didn't like the delivery.
