This book gets a double star rating from me 10 stars BRIEF SUMMARYAva made a decision seven years ago that hunts her. She has decided to do something about it and confide in her best friends about her past. Langston is a single parent and regrets what happen seven years ago. With Ava entering his life, he has a second chance.THOUGHTS. (May contain spoilers)This was a great story that never bored me at any point throughout my read. This book has lost and reunited love, real romance, family, best friends and an evil mother that redeems herself-ish. Langston and Ava had great chemistry in this story. Their romance did not feel rushed or forced but showed such amazing progress throughout the story. When Langston was younger, he believes himself not to be what women want because he was too dark. Boy, come over here because I will take you if nobody wants you (hehehe). He was sexy, lovable, and sweet. As a father, he was amazing. Ava was strong and great as well and blend into motherhood. At certain scenes in the book the author uses the opportunity to take us from past to present showing us what really happen between Ava and Langston and the baby Ava had seven years ago. The supporting characters that the author gave us are the glue that kept this story appealing to me. Ava's best friends along with their husbands and her family. Most important character, Zoe, that little girl melts my heart. She is the key to the story for both Ava and Langston. As for Karen, Summer's sister and Dom, Ava's brother their story could be next CAN'T wait, I want to read it like yesterday. We got a taste of their story in one of the chapters and that was a good teaser. Langston's mom, Beatrice made me so livid. She was so evil I don't think evil wants her to claim its name; so many emotions went through me when reading her scenes in the book. She later redeemed herself but what happen to her sister that was not satisfying for me how it was handled. The last character I will mention is Christina. Her role was not as big but I think if the author gave her a novella story that would be great.I have never read anything by this author and while reading half way through the book I realized it's a series. I could kick myself, the book was that good for me that I had to search if there where previous books written about Ava's best friends. I'm OCD about reading books in order but I've already purchase and have them on standby. Eva is Summer and Star's sassy friend from the previous books. Now its Eva turn to reveal her painfully deep secret that she hasn't shared with anyone not even her sister-friends. She has been haunted constantly in her dreams and now she ready to face her past and the baby she begrudgingly gave up for adoption 7 years ago.During her second year of college she fell in love with and got pregnant by Langston Wallington III. Langston comes from old money and his socialite mother manipulates him into convincing Eva to give their baby up for adoption. Eva has second thoughts about her decision, but its too late and the hospital will not even let her see her baby. Little does she know that in the 9th hour Langston steps up and claims custody of their baby and has been raising her alone. With a new found determination and courage, Eva decides to confront Langston about finding their baby. Imagine her surprise when she discovers she doesn't have to look any further than the man she once love.Beatrice(Langston's mother) is despicable, hateful, vengeful and a self-righteous monster, and that's describing mildly. The way she treated Eva, Zoe and Langston is so indescribably horrible, it truly broke my heart. She was selfish, cold and totally unfeeling, but Eva's family and friends were just the opposite. I enjoyed going on their journey to become a family, with Eva and Langston. They were truly blessed to have so much love and support despite his mother. Although Beatrice has an awakening and tries to prove she has changed, I'm not sure I would allow her to get too close to my child. One of my favorite moments in the book was when Eva's mother Janet met Beatrice. She was very cool, but she definitely got her point across. As always Eva, Summer and Star are ride or die chicks and it is so much fun reading their dialogue. I always feel like the book I have just read by Ms Wells is the best, but the truth is....she is just a great writer and knows how to capture her readers from page one. I can't wait to find out what happens between Nick and Karen......bring it on Ms Wells, you have a fan for life!!!

Key To My Heart, is another GOOD addition to Mrs. Wells, "Love Conquers All" series...and I MUST say I was TRULY looking forward to Ava's story...this one left me SERIOUSLY questioning the actions of the hero and heroine throughout...that being said the only person I had the MOST sympathy for in this story is Zoe...being DEPRIVED of her mother's love...and having to ENDURE her grandmother's WRATH for all those years...because her father for lack of a better description, was a mama's boy...and not strong enough to stand up to his mother and FIGHT for the woman he loves or his child that was suffering...that being said...it's still a HIGHLY emotional, intriguing and ENTERTAINING read...and the passion between the reunited couple is very SENSUAL…I just found the reasoning behind the hero/heroine's actions LACKING and at times unbelievable...as USUAL, the full cast is still LIVELY and unforgettable...and I'm EAGERLY anticipating Karen and Dominic's story...PLEASE don't keep us waiting too LONG, Mrs. Wells!

Ava and Langston's story is definitely the best of the series so far. The story was just so heart wrenching in what happened to Ava and her child. You couldn't help but love Langston's character. He really was a doll, and handled their situation perfectly. Langston's mom Beatrice was really the wicked witch of the west. He behavior throughout the book was really deplorable. I'm happy she redeemed herself in the end. The love scenes in this book were really good. One of my complaints about the previous book was the love scenes could have been better, so I am glad the author steamed them up this time around. Definitely a must read.

A really refreshing story for Ava and Langston Warrington. I could really relate to some of the characters. Ava and her friends Starr and Summer are the best. A must read.
