I had assumed this would be a typically factual biography of the Ringling brothers, so I was initially put off by the folksy tone of this book written in 1950. However, in ways, the tone suited the era in which the Ringlings, as boys, fell in love with the circus and determined to establish one of their own. Working as a team, the six brothers became wildly successful after years of struggle and poverty. Truly an American tale of enterprise and fulfillment

This is an old book that I had in my library that used to belong is one of my angels, Jean Ruggles, a beautiful lady that blessed my life growing up. Nice to share with her again.
