This book is an easy read that can be read a little at a time if one chooses. It's composed of a series of interviews by people who have immigrated to America from other countries that have been oppressed. Each chapter starts out with a very brief history of a country, followed by the person's own personal story, in their own words. As far as I am concerned, it's a must read for all Americans, to give us some perspective of how lucky we are to live in America and serve as a reminder to appreciate our liberties that are all too easily taken for granted. It is very interesting and eye-opening to read these people's stories.
