This book brings to light, sex in hockey, and how common group sex has become over the past several years. It contains confessional short stories from various Puck Bunnies, player´s girlfriends, players and fans. I wrote this book to open peoples eyes to the new "Media Generation" of teenagers that openly participate in group sex. I do not form any opinions and have left it up to the readers to form their own opinions and views on the book and how they feel towards this sub-culture. Some girls are proud of their sexual exploits with hockey players and many of the player´s girlfriends talk about how they deal with the rumours and the Puck Bunnies. The players discuss the Puck Bunnies, as well as the fans and stalkers. This book contains real truths of a sub-culture that was, is and will likely continue to happen, in the world of sports and foremost hockey. The content is written in a non-judgemental way and with no sarcasm or finger pointing. The book may be a hard read and difficult for some to swallow, but, believe you me, this sub-culture exists, even if the players change from year to year....

is this even real? i have no idea, but as a hockey fan and a sex-positive female, i was either dying laughing or cringing in horror at this book. the strange thing is that i'm not actually sure what i think about the information presented here, and it's causing me to think about some of my own viewpoints about sex positivity, and when i work those out in my head i will definitely have to come back and discuss it more. there are some structural problems -- it drove me nuts that you don't know at the end of each girl's section when the "author" or "compiler" jumps in with her thoughts -- and i'm not really sure what the point of this book actually *is*, but for the thought-provoking subject matter, i'll give it three stars.

Shocking!!!!!!! Still cringing and trying to take in what I read in this book and it's been over a month since I read it. As a parent it makes your stomach turn. As a former wild child the things in this book still shocked me. It's such a shame that young girls feel the need to act this way in order to feel loved or needed. It's such a shame. This is certainly a book (wouldn't call it a novel) every parent should be reading. It's important to know what teenagers today are like to help our kids avoid making poor choices and helping to keep the lines of communication open. This book was my daughter's. I heard her and her girlfriends in her room laughing. I noticed the book they were reading. I took it out of her room and read it about a month ago. It took me about three days to find the words so I could sit and discuss the book with her. This is one of the worst written books I have ever read. That being said. It's the best book that I have ever read. It has completely changed the relationship I now have with my 15 year old daughter. It has brought us so close that she feels she can tell me anything. I sit and listen about her friends and their sex lives. It gives me comfort now that my daughter understands the importance of not giving herself to guys for all the wrong reasons. She now wants to wait until she is ready. It was horrifying to sit and listen the first and tenth time we talked. It will most likely horrify me each and every time. She's my little girl and always will be. One suggestion to parents who read this book. I would wait a few days after you read it like I did before talking to your kids about it. Let them read it and take it in. It gives you time to find the right way for you to talk about it with your teenager. So you don't get upset while you're talking to them. It's a very graphic book. It contains swearing and lots of sex talk. However, I feel it's important for any parent to read and to let their teenagers read it. Girl or Boy!

While the subject matter was interesting, it was not well written. There were many, many typos (usually involving homophones like to/too). It was also difficult to tell at times, where the actual story ended and the author's input began. It should have been more developed, as well. I was very disappointed that the end was composed of a dictionary of terms (few, if any, of which were the author's own work, they seemed to be from Urban Dictionary or a hockey site), a list of teams and leagues and their locations. Still, it was eyeopening and does raise concerns for the junior leagues, since most of those players start out around 17, with a few exceptions (including the inclusion of a fifteen-year-old in the OHL last season.)

I don't usually write reviews of books, however, in this circumstance I will. I am a young father of a four year old girl. This book horrified me. I thought I was a pretty libral guy - pretty much open to anything. To read how young girls act and think about sex today made me want to lock up my daughter and throw away the key. When you become a father to a girl - your entire thought process changes. I am not innocent of past indiscretions however, teenagers today scare the crap out of me. I will be a hell of a lot more careful how I address my daughter in regards to relationships and sex when the time comes. My wife is the one who made me read this book, and I really wish she wouldn't have done that. I would rather not know what goes through the minds of teenage girls. Parents if you read this book it will change your entire outlook on parenting. It's is distrubing, and full of awful dirty language and sex, but then again that is exactly how teenagers today talk. I gave this book four stars - not because it was a wonderfully written masterpiece; but because it literally scared the crap out of me. Fathers good luck sleeping after reading this book!

My girlfriend ordered this book and told me about it. It sounded dumb! She insisted I read it. I couldn't believe it at first. It was gross that these girls would do things like this just to sleep with a hockey player. I really felt bad when I read the part of the gay hockey players though. It made me realize how hard of a time they must have. They can't really tell their teammates that they are gay. I mean I can't recall any hockey players being openly gay in the NHL. Although it makes sense that probably many of them are gay. I think this book effects people in very different ways. I was grossed out by this book and it opened my mind to not "giving it away" so to speak! However, my two girlfriends who read it use it as their bible to hook up with hockey players. Whatever! To each their own right!

I wasn't sure how to rate this book. I agree with most of the other reviews. It certainly is not a masterpiece. However, it is one of the most honest books I have ever read. I laughed and cried while reading this book for many reasons. I dated an OHL player and these things really happen. That is the scariest part of reading this book - knowing it's reality!I felt so bad for these girls. You have to wonder how low someone's self esteem has to be for these girls to do the things they do. Having known many puck bunnys some seem like normal average girls with normal self esteem but then you find out what they do behind closed doors and that impression is changes. I have also encountered the crazies! Many many puck bunnys are out of their minds crazy. Clearly from reading these stories that is obvious.

Disturbing! It's shocking what some young girls will do to have sex with a 'celebrity'. The same thing happens with rock stars etc., groupies have always been around but to read what some young girls will do was quite sickening. Who cares that the book is not well written,it was not written to win awards but to bring the nasty truth to everyone's attention. As long as we continue to idolize sports people and pay them huge amounts of money to play a game there will be these sad victims who will be used, abused and thrown away to make room for the next lot of star struck young girls. So sad.

A scandalous collection of poorly written sex stories. A very poorly written yet gripping novel. Something that everyone should be reading. It tackles some of the most important things that young teenagers face today. It's also interesting that one of the stories tackles the issue of homosexual teens in sports.

This book was crazy! I couldn't believe the things I was reading. It is certainly an interesting read. I recommend it highly if you can stomach a lot of dirty talk. The things some of these girls are willing to do just baffled me. I past this book around for some of my co-workers to read. I think if you have daughters it is a must read.

I am unsure what to think of this book. I must give it 5 stars simply because it's a book that is now burnt into my mind and I will be talking about with family and friends for a long time. Terribly written. Subject matter intense. These girls stories effected me in so many ways. I don't even know how to review this book at all.

I really still don't know what to think of this book. I know it all happens. You're sitting at a hockey game and you watch how certain girls act, dress and flaunt themselves in front of the players. However, to actually read what really happens and what is going through these girls minds is so crazy. These girls need help. Hell the players need help!

I just read the reviews for this book and they have me a little concerned. I know my daughter has this book and I asked her to let me read it. She claims it has been on loan to her friends. I decided I would go ahead and order it to see what kind of book this is and if I need to sit down and have a talk with her about it's contents. From the reviews it looks like that will certainly be the case.

LMAO As strange as this book seems, I know girls who have done the same sort of things with our local hockey teams. The book is weird, sad and disturbing laughable at times. It's not really a novel more of a group of told events compiled together.

Had to laugh when I read this book. So many of my high school friends were like this and into hockey players.
