Other than a few mentions of cowboy, there wasn't much cowboy action in this novella. What bugged me the most, was that the hero got a real hardon for a knocked out woman. We're talking unconscious due to an accident. And the heroine, once she wakes up from being knocked out, jumps the cowboy's bones without a single thought in her mind. Yeah. Cause she didn't wake up with a huge lump on her forehead or a headache or anything. No, she was peachy and ready for sexin'.This novella read like a Twilight (or any other fandom of your preference) fanfiction, where the story is only good cause the main players are Edward and Bella. You take out the names and other references, and the story just doesn't hold up. I have no idea if this is a rewrite or an original piece, but it just wasn't sexy at all. My guess is, had the author written this as a longer story, and had the space to add inn the drama from waking up after being knocked out by the steering wheel, and the drama from finding out she was 'had' when she bought the farm next door to the hero - it probably would have ended up being a much better book.
